Hi new to your group my common pleco looks like his scales r discolouring water is fine regular water changes just installed a fluval 406 cannister filter.just started to happen after i put four clown loaches in wonder if they r bullying him .should i move him to my other tank that has dwarf gourami in can any one help

A picture might help. What other tankmates? What kind of pleco (there is different "common" ones)? How old is the tank? What are water parameters (with numbers). Notice any change of behavior in the pleco? What size tank? What hiding spots? (Both clown loach and pleco prefer having spots to hide) And last not least: What is the feeding and maintenance schedule.
Hes a common plec all levels in tank r spot on running a fluvel 406 water changes every two weeks he gets cucumber and courgette plus frozen blood worm tanks a 375 litre tank with plenty of bog wood and hidey holes .got blue acaras in phantom tetras siccor tale rass redline torpedo barbs blue rams and clown loaches .checked him tonight he seems to b colouring back up tanks 3 months old
Saying they are "spot on" is not necessarily the information we need, unfortunately one person's perfect are different than another person's perfect and it can be tough to say for sure. Is he losing color in patches or all over? Is it just a few scales here and there or is it big areas?

If your pleco is pale more than 48 hours after you added the clown loaches your water is not okay.
Clown loaches only bully snails.
The new filter may have caused an ammonia spike, check again.
