gibbiceps is a veggie eater but will eat meat if nothing else is available. I would go with cucumbers mine use to like that. HTH

some plecos are carnivorous alot of them are actually. the second pic was nice shot of the albino gibbiceps i saved it to my comp hope you dont mind.

i gave him a piece of squash and he ate it then gave him a cucumber and he also ate it really happoy since there is rarely leftover prawn from my arowanas meal

You should feed him some green every one week or so. Some good food are hikari algae wafer, cucumber.
