Plecos

Check out Rubberlips, Queen Arabesques, Green Phantoms, Gold Nuggets(can be fragile), Bushy Noses, Leopard Frogs, Clowns, just to name a few. All plecos. Rubbers, Clowns and Bushys are fairly common and cheap. All others can be semi~rare and run $20-40. There's literally about 100+ different kinds of plecos, and many of those stay small. None listed above grow over 8"s, and most above only grow 4.

In fact, my Avatar is a Leopard Frog, and a good alternative to Zebras.

L200's are great, pricey though, sorry i only go by L numbers

think I'm gonna go with Cory's for now and save the pleco for my next tank (hopefully much larger). that way I can do some more research and save up extra money to spend on it. thank you for all of your recommendations and advice - it's amazing how much more there is to know now than there was when I was little.

Finally got my Camera working. You wanted to see pics of plecos, well, this is my L191, or Dull-eyed Royal. Royals are my favorite type of plecos, but they reach anywhere from 12-16 inches.
