Hello, new here and I have a question so I hope this is the right spot for it.

I have two plecos, couldn't tell you what kind they are but anyway as I went walking past my tank tonight I noticed the one on the glass and the belly was big.It usually isn't that big.I called my hubby over to take a look and he said the same on how big he or she is in the belly area.Anyone know why this would be?I haven't changed the diet they eat in fact nothing has changed in the aquarium other then the water so I am lost as to why the belly of my pleco looks like a pregnant belly.Anyone know why this may be??

How large are the plecos (length)? If they are commons, they will not breed in an aquarium. If they are bristlenoses, the female could easily be full of eggs, but not "pregnant". She would have to lay the eggs and the male would have to fertilize them.

how big of a tank are they in and can you give a desciption of the pleco's?it would make it easier for us to tell why she is bloated and possibly what species ;) :p:
