I gave away my to big common pleco a week ago (he has moved in to my son's 125 gallon tank) and replaced it with two plecos: a 2.5" Bristlenose and a 1.5" Clown. I just spent an hour watching them, and they are far more productive removing algae than the big one. They are all over the tank. It is amazing to see how much they are removing. I was concerned that I would have an algae problem. No wories there!
