posted before, but was asked to post again when the yellow gusy has matured some. he was a juvi and was unable to tell what kind he was here he goes......

Eee he's starting to darken eh. Get some blue hints.

It still looks like a hybrid, but it starting to look more like a Melanochromis johanii. Male.

It still could bea stressed emale. It is a hybrid Johanni. As the regular Johanni has no vertical bars. The faux Johanni looks just like that. ecpet the female is blue from the begginging. So this is Hybrid of the two. I have a female just like that.
