Plumbing dual Eheim 2213s/dual Hydor ETH-200. Critique/assistance thread

The pictures explained a lot, the reason I posted the picture I did was because, like you say, I didn't understand why you were trying to do what you are. Now that I see the limitations, it makes sense to me. I'm not convinced that hooking them together is gaining you anything, 4' of head is 4' of head regardless of anything else. I don't think there are any synergies to be gained by having both pumps outputting into a common line, unless its pushing through a single check valve, which wouldn't make any sense at all.

I have a 2215 and it still uses a 3/8" piece. Do you think it would be ok it I used a 2215 and a 2213 if I had a check valve on each?

that isnt really for me to say ... I havent even completed mine yet.

I would think the 2215 might just keep the check valve on the other one closed because it is more powerful.

Ok that is fair enough. Thanks.

Do yours up, and throw some pics in. I'd love to see someone elses version of this :D
Its just going to be longer to complete mine due to waiting for parts, paying for other things in the process etc.
I never just take on one project at a time :D:D

Again... hee hee

omfg rofl.
