Plz ID this stuff on my fish?

are you saying you are adding the salt to treat for parasites?
 
well if you have ich salt and heat is the correct treatment. if you have ich. otherwise is unnecessary stress.
 
oh. =( well doesn't it help for repairing skin and scales too?
 
a small bit of salt will stimulate regrowth of damaged tissue. but its not necessary when large daily water changes will help even more.
 
ok. well i swear that there was ich on them, and i already added salt...i'll try it out for the rest of the week and if nothing changes, i'll stop, but if they start getting better, i'll keep treating until they get 100% again.
 
there is no need for a better pic anymore....the "algae" was actually ripped off scales clouded by my once toxic water....... because it was so bad i pretty much dumped 75+% of it when doing my water change and changed the substrate and put in lava rocks and took out the old decor so the water got really cloudy because it was trying to recycle itself....but its almost clear now and i can tell the the "algae" was really ripped off scales from my fish.....now how do i treat this?
