I just recived pmdd pre mix from the Greg Watson site. How to mix it?
It contans plantex csm + b
Mgso4 + 7H20
K2so4 and Kno3 in equal parts.
How much water to how of the pmdd mix? The website is not specific or I just don't see it. Thanks.

I also ordered iron chelate 10% which is to mix 3.53 ounces to 1 litre of water.

SF, that's the formula I'm using, but I also add phosphates to the tank. I found I needed more NO3 than 1tbsp provides, but because I also need calcium, I added 2 tbsp of CaNO3 and some KCl to the mix (since if the plants are sucking up NO3 like a sponge, I figure they need the added K as well and aren't getting it from additional KNO3).

Hmmm thanks. How do measure calcium. Ask the city for a water report?

I found my city's water report online, on the city's website - it's information that's available to the public, so if you Google your city's name and water report you should be able to find it. I found it a bit of a challenge to read through, but there were tables listing the levels of many different things like Mg, Ca, etc.
I also bought a calcium test kit for fresh or salt water. I have no doubt it's not accurate within more than 10 ppm, but really all I wanted was an idea of whether my Ca was low, high or non-existant, and it seems to do that quite well .
