hey : ) u posted on my thread :) now i can see the pics : D

from the pics, i liked

Baby tears
Eichhornia diversifolia
Myriophyllum mattogrossense
Sagittaria subulata
Hygrophila corymbosa
Lindernia rotundifolia 'variegated'

but i dont know which of these would be suitable for my tank ( 12gal nano wit 24w 10k+actinic ) ... and it seems like all of these r green plants, any chance u have any red plants that can handle that low light ? xD
lemme know what kinda package u can put together for me :)

How come I cannot send PM to you?

Baby tears $4.99/3''x3'' (last submersed portion)
Eichhornia diversifolia $2.5/large long plant
Myriophyllum mattogrossense $0.5/stem of 4''
Sagittaria subulata $0.75/plant
Hygrophila corymbosa 'Siamensis' $2.99/plant
Lindernia rotundifolia 'variegated' $1.5/stem

I do have many kinds of red plants, such as Rotala macrandra 'japan red' or 'Variegated', Ammania gracilis, Cabomba furcata, Hygrophila Sunset, Ludwigida arcuata, Polygonum Kawagoeanum, Rotala 'singapore' etc., See page 2 of this thread to see some of the photos. However, they like higher light, I am not sure whether your light is intense enough.

To my knowledge, the least light demanding red plants I have is Alternanthera reineckii. Will you be interested?

hmmm ya i have no idea how come i can't send/ receive pm .... but i guess i'll email u my address later...

so...
i'll take the baby tears ( hopefully they'll thrive, cuz i didn't have much luck last time with another tank )
maybe 2 of those eichhornia
4-6 of those myriophyllum
hmm, 4-6 of those sagittaria
3 of those hygro
maybe like 2 stem of that lindernia...

that alternanthera looks awesome ! but base on ur experience, do u think that 24w 10k+actinic light is gonna do it any good?

does that list looks bout right for a 12gallon? haha honestly, i would take any recommendation from you cuz i wouldnt want to waste ur plants if my tank is actually not suitable .

* sticking these plants and stems in ADA aquasoil would be good enough right?

Thanks!

This citation is from inernet:
Alternanthera reineckii can be grown with lower light levels and without CO2 supplementation ... Moderate to high lighting (2-4 watts per gallon) and CO2 injection is more ideal.

I have some of them grown in a dark corner and they are still red, although not as great as those in brighter place.
