i know MH is a must have but getting it shipped here to cyprus is hard(becuase it would probably get smashed up on the way). I think ill try T5 for now, i saw some in a shop near my house. last question what kelvin should i look out for?

There are several different brands, some do not directly say "10,000k or 420nm". I suggest writing the types that you have available and doing a little online research. Due to power consumption/cost MH isn't used as much over seas as it is here, I'm interested to see what kind of products are available to you. Keep us posted.

Just a quick update. im sad to say that the polyps that i was going to buy have died while waiting to be sold in the LFS. ill just have to wait till the next batch gets imported. as sad as it is, it gives me some more time to get good light to prevent the same thing happening in my tank too.
