I am interested is try to popagate some of my yellow polyps... I need some ideas. I have never tried it before. I have been reading online and it says that it is fairly easy. I just dont want to try it and kill them. Has anyone on here done it before? Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appriciated!

polyps grow fast on there own. i give my yellows brine shrimp once a week and they do just fine on there own i dont know about doing manaully but good luck

I asked this question before and the response i got was

they spead fast but place moveable things next to them ie shells and they will eventually grow onto them then they can be moved. otherwise its going to be a struggle to get them off the rocks

The task is complete!!!! I removed a yellow polyp and place him on new rock he is doing very well!!!!!!!!!!

Ive had success moving them as well. It just takes a little care in doing it. I once broke a loose rock from the bigger rock and seperated a group. when I did it, it split one completely in two peices. after a few days they healed and became there own polyps...

Just thought it was a neat experience worth sharing...
