Nice fish, I like the long fin. Are they fresh or brackish water? I was under the impression that they were fresh, but the salesperson at petsmart said brackish, so I held off on buying one today..
All polypterus are fully FW fish. No salt needed.
I've lagged on starting threads with the other species partly because finding time to get good pics lately has been rare.
I will continue though.
Thanks for the response. Want to point me in the direction of a long finned? I'm getting a regular P senegalus today but there's always room for more tanks.
