Oh I see what you meant now, yes there is a lot of variation in the pattern of every species of Polypterus. Some have a lot of contrast, some are grey, some green, some have dark thick stripes, some have lighter thinner ones. Makes them very addicting

I have 6 baby short body albino sens, and two baby albino regular length sens. I'll update part one with pics

Thank you very much Jen! That shot took a lot of luck to pull off! I literally was just taking random pics of the fish and saw him yawning and got lucky that the pic came out some what clear.
