Thanks for the info.I checked into it and found out I did not need permits to ship.I know from shipping in the past I had to have this,but I guess things have changed.I am still investigating as I don't always trust what I find out and I need to cover my tail and be legal>So any info is a big help.Thanks alot.
 
there's a nice long thread about it in the freshwater invertebrates section. I dunno if you've seen it or not, but it shows the discovery :)
 
I called Sheri Steiner, the USDA woman that actually signs the permits and she said that the legislation changed Jan 1st 2009. That permits were no longer needed to ship the briggs.

I even doubled asked her to make sure that she was totally sure. Even spelled the name for her to make double double sure. LOL.
 
Thank you very much.I also did the same and recieved the same answer yesterday.I am sure she has recieved a few calls on this subject.I think it is confirmed.No more permit.Thanks again.
