Ok then, I will update the site with details of the pond later today with a bit of luck.
The pond is 15foot long, 8foot wide and 4.5foot deep.
The pump I am using is an oase 1200? (not quite sure-second hand).
The filter is a kockney koi mega max box (think thats what they call it) with a 30watt uv bulb mounted on the back if it.
The pond should have around 3000galls of water in it.
The pond was built this year, the liner went in in june.

Yep, I dare'nt leave it open. Too many cats around for my likings and also a few Herons from the nearby water reserve.
I would be devastated to find that some of my loi have been eaten by a heron.
Its a shame really because this is the only thing IMO that spoils it.
