yea I saw that show too, and those were not true striped bass. striped bass are saltwater fish and they dont really look like that-I fish for them all the time(last week i caught a 43 inch striper, by the way). I didnt see the whole show but if they werent striped bass like they said, what were they?

they were hybrid striped bass. striped bass can live in fresh or salt water. We have a ton of them in our lake, and they are used to stock a lot of fresh water lakes. They looked liked striped bass to me
