Walmart sells a 14' round pool that is 4' deep how many gallons is this and would it work as a pond?
Question 2 will the pool filter work to keep it clean?
Please let me know what you think they are cheap right now due to the season so i would love to get 1 before thy go up again thanks for the help and if you have any pics.of one done this way please share them.:hang:

Does it have flimsy side? Our pool we had as a kids would slosh if there was a stiff wind. Lost a lot of water that way...would hate to have you wake up one day and see fishies on the ground...

do you have a link for the pool? So we can evaluate it?

i will probably end up using an above-ground setup when i get a house. when i was younger i had a buddy who had one, and we stocked it with bass and bluegill and carp, and it was a wonderful little pond.

This pond should be about 4800 gallons. Large pond. I don't know what size pump it will have, but probably too big. Filter for sa pool I don't think will be enough. Also the above groung pool pump is not ment to run full time. Very expensive.
