We have one of those black heavy moulded plastic ponds in the ground. It didn't cost much at all.. I'm not sure how these things hold up in freezing weather though..
Do you have any more painted rocks to share?

Just working on cats (currently #11), mostly grey or yellow tabbys, like my avatar. I'm going to do a bulldog next, because it is soooo cute.
 
You could paint a dachshund if you have a long rock! :D

Ponds are very rewarding to keep. They're a great extension to the aquarium hobby. It's amazing how much wildlife a pond will attract to your yard. Plus you can have a waterfall! :)

I dug an 1800 gallon pond in my backyard a few years ago:

Well, after I'm done here, I'll have to go take a closer look at your pic in Mugshots. :)

No, I guess it doesn't look like my plant by that name either. Just couldn't think of what else it could be with those big leaves; and elephant ears likes its feet damp...
