I have a 100g freshwater tank in my basement. I use a old power filter that hangs off the back of the tank, but its only rated to 60 gallons. I put my heater in it (goood trick by the way, gets it out of view, and gaurantees good water flow...) Now i've added some bala sharks, and my comet is reaching 9 inches and my pleco has surpased 10, i am thinking of adding to my filtration. I was thinking about a pool filter, they are liek 40 bucks, rated at like 800 gph, and the cartridges are huge, and only about 4 bucks a piece.... anyone ever run one?
