Soooo...I went to the local LFS and had to check out the bettas and I couldnt NOT get this guy. Well, he gave him to me for free so is it considered 'getting'? Anyhow, here he is. He's too shredded to even figure out the tailtype, but I'm thinking DT.

Looking at his coloring, I think he might end up a marble! It doesnt show in the photos though.

Good luck nursing him back to health! One thing I'd do is give him daily water changes, to make sure his is as fresh as possible. How's his appetite?

He's not eating. I'm going to try some peas later today and see if he's just constipated. He's in a small container right now(for waterchange ease) with a heatlamp over it.)

I take that back! He ate his first Hikari pellet today! And spit it back out...still too young, I think. So I'm crushing them and he's taking them!

I now feel compelled to go check out my LFS and see if there are any rescues... I have the urge to heal another horribly conditioned fish and give it a better quality of life. Thanks xo
