Portable RO Filter

Hi,

Does anyone knowabout portable RO filters?

The model in question looks like this.

It came with no instructions so so far I've not been able to figure out how to attatch it to the tap. If anyone can shed some light on it then I'd be really greatful as the eBayer I got it from is'nt very helpful.

Mine has a 'quick snap' connector that goes to the water supply but you have to purchase an attachment that connects to your faucet. You can contact me at WnyZman@aol.com if you like.

sweet filter. just make sure that you use a connector that won't overloud the filter. you don't want a lot of water preasure and/or speed running through that filter. if you can find one, use one specficly for this purpoes.

look at the faucet connector on that one. thats the type you want i think.

Don't restrict the water flow. RO units need 80psi pressure to work properly. I had a friend who only turned the faucet on a little bit and it took a few hours to get just one gallon RO water. Turn faucet on all the way! FYI, it will not work correctly if you are using well water.

Cheers guys. Hopefully I'll have it up and running next weekend. I'll let you know if I ret it as if it does work it should prove a really cheap way to get RO water to you fish.
