i would get 3-4 more rasboras instead. then you'd have a nice group that would be the central focus of the tank.
 
it could work for about two or three months, but you are going to have to do more frequent water changes.
I already do, guess i'll get him then. I actually want to try and spawn them in the future.
 
that would be pretty cool, but you'd need a big tank, like 55 or 75 gallons to have a big enough group.

you are going to want to give them lots of live foods... they can be a challenge to spawn
do I remove him after the eggs hatch? will the fry feed on infusoria or do they need BBS?

well I do have many live worms living in my gravel... guess that's covered.
 
they are wild caught, right? I really like them, and i'd like to help reduce the need for wild cauht ones, that's why I want to breed them.
