I thought I would avoid this by setting up the tank and using established media...but what I realize now is that I added more bioload than the media was equipt to handle....thus I am now getting some ammonia which is toxic and stressful in any amount! I'll be doing daily water changes and at least twice daily water testing for a while now.....and dealing with the subsequent bacterial/fungal infection that is a result of the stress...UGH! They all seem ok, active and eating well. I'll keep trudging on!
