Possiblt to cross breed Cherry shrimp and Snowball Shrimp?

Yeah. Or maybe some orange neo shrimp XD. I think they have a brackish Caridina orange shrimp.
Hey Happypoet, I currently have a 5 gallon set up that I recently put my sons Orange male fancy guppy in and have some ghost shrimp in with him now but I was thinking of doing the same thing when I move the ghost shrimp out. I would definetly follow that journal thread.
It doesn't work like that. When these species crossbreed they tend to produce offspring that look like the wild coloration, brown. That's why cross breeding is avoided.
Ok so to did some cleaning out of my 10 gallon shrimp tank and found that there are 4 or 5 red shrimp with a white blotch on their backs, exactly like a snowball shrimp. Am I seeing signs of molting possibly? From what I can tell there are no snowballs left in my tank.
