Cool pics. I've got some algae that's been pearling on a regular basis, and I really wish I could say it was a marimo ball or something (tank's too close to the window).

I have a marimo ball, it hasn't pearled since I brought it home (1 or 2 weeks) but I regularly see the ones at the lfs doing it.

im not sure what kind of plant it is but it is quite large

Looks like water sprite...Ceratopteris thalictroides

I'm pretty sure it IS water sprite. I might order some later this week. I like it that much.

It grows like crazy, i have to trim it like twice a week
