The fish cost me 8$ for a trio of 1 male 2 females. They very nicely bred and produced even more for me ! 
I sold all the extras and kept 2 females and 3 males for myself.
I used money I had made from selling a batch of german blue rams to purchase all the stuff to set up that tank. Obviously the plants are fake, but the driftwood is as well. It's a mix of 3 different drifwood pieces that I had purchased at PetCo. Took all the plastic plants off them and set them all together to look more like a rock formation or just a piece of knarly wood.
