Post Pictures of your Non-Planted Tanks

ya Im really starting to not like that rock

How am I to do this? can it be done without removing my fish or is that a must?

I took mine out when I changed my gravel. But remember to fill a pantyhose full of gravel and leave it in the tank for 2 weeks. If you are even thinking about going to sand in the slightest do it because changing gravel over is stressful for you and your fish.

Well here it is. Im very open to suggestions.

I'm ok with the colored rocks, but I do feel like it needs more of something. Personally, I'm more of a "tank against the wall" kind of guy, so I suspect I am biased against it. However, I think it needs more plants. I'd go with the brand "aquatic garden" or whatever. They tend to be pretty good looking fake plants.

This is my 10 gallon now. I'm looking for some small silk plants to stick in the pots (I didn't want to tell anyone till I had it done...lol) so that it looks like they've spilled over. Actually, I've swapped the left plant and the one in the middle...

And here is my 20 as it is now. I'm completely bored with it. I'm still struggling with the idea of live plants, but I do know that I want to do a temple ruins kind of theme. So I'll have some kind of new ornaments along with some slate piles in various places. I'll post an update when I get it done...

Here is my 30g non-planted. Well, actually there's a piece of java moss in there that could easily be excluded. It's a split substate....you can't see the gravel side very well. I used a homemade acrylic divider to separate the sand and gravel. It's got an AC110 filter (way overkill) and a cheesy 17w All glass light.
