I decided to retouch a couple of the spider shots, and add a couple of a praying mantis I had found the same night I made my original post in this thread. Enjoy. :)

Great photos everyone. I'm going to try my luck down by the river.
Inca, I live in Victoria, Australia and have seen one of the spider eating wasps sting/paralyse its victim, which was three times its size, drag it 20 metres across my yard and down into its burrow where it lays its egg in the spider. The spider has strong jaws, but is too slow for the wasp which paralyses rather than kills it.
In Cairns Nth Queensland Aust, those honey ants swarm in large nests in trees and the aboriginies just reach in and grab a handful, ignore the bites, and suck the 'honey' from the ants abdomen.
