Potential Stocking List

So far this is what I want:

4 Blue-Green Chromis (sm)
2 Bangaii Cardinals
1 Firefish
2 Ocellaris Clownfish
1 Yellow Watchman Goby
1 Flame Angel
3 Lyretail Anthias

That's pretty much the order that I'll get them in. The Chromis are already on order from the LFS and should come in sometime this week. :y220e:

How does that sound? I don't think there are any compatibility issues. I also want to get a small dogface puffer but I fear that will limit, if not negate, any hope of keeping inverts like shrimp or even hermits.

Any suggestions or revisions are greatly appreciated.

Ive had all these fish exept for the puffer. I think the puffer will eat shrimp i never got a puffer because i herd that they can eat smaller fish like that fire fish you whant. But if im wrong sumone will correct me in a little bit.

I'm guessing this is for the 85gal in your sig? I think it sounds ok but I don't have a ton of SW experience yet. Are you doing corals or fowlr or what?

It'll be a FOWLR. Not going to do corals until far down the line.

2 Bangaii Cardinals (consider adding a 3rd)
1 Flame Angel
4 Blue-Green Chromis (sm) (consider a 5th)
2 Ocellaris Clownfish
3 Lyretail Anthias (I wish I had longer tank for them, I love them)

Maybe I should've asked this question before I ordered the chromis.

Out of curiosity, why would you switch the order? Personal preference or other reason? I like the order you came up with though. Kinda eases me into it. The Anthias are great. They are last for a reason though. I know they are difficult and it will be some time before I even think about getting those.

I put the more passive fish at the start, then more likely to be territorial and then the anthias last because as you said they aren't a starter fish.
