powerhead current and plants

I'm using a small powerhead as a CO2 diffuser, and it seems to work fine for that purpose, but some nearby plants are always waving around in the outflow stream. Would I benefit from creating a baffle (maybe a rock?) near the output to stop the plants from being pushed by the current? I've heard it's not good to have too much wather motion. Thoughts appreciated.

Most plants will do just fine with the currents. What species of plants do you have? Vallisnerias, anubias and Java ferns are a few that work quite well in river setups involving fast flowing currents.

blocking the outflow kind of defeats the purpose of circulating co2 around the tank. if you properly place the PH and then aim it well youshould be able to acheive the results that you want with limited plants blowing in the 'wind'

A little bit of current is nothing to worry about, in fact its good. As coach said, you could aim the PH outlet in such a way that it avoids blowing over any plants or position it to hit the glass wall of the aquarium.
