Powerheads

Ok, at this point I know I need more circulation in my tank, but how much? How many power heads and placement of power head?

The tank is a 45 gallon DAS tank with a filter built into the back left corner. The filter is running providing minimal current but I know more is needed. All suggestions welcome.

I'd add 2 powerheads, each about 250gph, on opposite ends of the tank, one facing slightly upward, the other slightly downward, you want as much water movement as possible. Experiment with where you point them too, some point up and down like I do, other point at each other to cause turbulence, others point at the glass.
