Hi! I have two large adult Hemichromis cristatus Jewel Cichlids that needed to be removed from a customer tank due to Sandy. These are about 4" SL each, very big Jewels! Cristatus is definitely the most peaceful of the Jewel species and imo by far the most attractive. These fish are male and female to my eye, and since being removed to their own private tank have engaged in what looked like courtship, but no eggs. The tank is however completely bare, since it was about a week away from being my new reef tank when Sandy hit! I'm all caught up now and want to complete the reef tank, so these have got to go! Worst case they go to auction at BCAS on 12/6, but sooner is better! Thanks for looking!
