Today one of my angels looks like its belly is a little bloated. I was worried that it might be bloat, but it still is active and has a hearty appetite. I haven't fed them anymore than I normally do (enough that they can finish in about 2 minutes), and the water parameters are normal. Could it be pregnant? I thought maybe constipation, but i thought that they usually lost their appetite with constipation, as well. Thanks.

She could be with eggs. I wasn't sure the first time either.....my Angel looked like she swallowed a marble. A few days later one of my plant leaves was full of rows of eggs.
Is there any aggression? If there is, it's she's probably carrying.

Keep an eye on her , watch for her to start cleaning . Do a WC feed high protein food like blood worms, freeze dried treats.

sounds like she is getting ready to lay. I have a female that looks like that.. very large.. last time she did that she laid hundreds of eggs and had hundreds of fry..unfortunately they all disappeared.
