I have one male dalmation molly and about 3 weeks ago I got him a girl dalmation molly. He got her pregnant and she then died. Last week I got 3 more female dalmation mollies and one of them was pregnant from the fish store. She then got a lot bigger and disappeared for a day. This morning I found her dead. I don't know what it is but I don't have any luck with pregnant dalmation mollies. Anyone have any takes on this?

I went to the pet store and bought 6 dalmation platty and within a day or so one went missing and was never found, no babies, then another was really big when I got her and then had babies. I collected five and put them in a new tank by themselves. A coupe of days later the mother was dead. I know what you mean. I also have one more female that is pregnant but she seems fine----for now.I also have molly in the tank that are actually very agressive compared to what I have read. So I wonder if that may have something to do with it. Do you have other things in your tank with them? have you checked the water for ammonia and ph, temperature? Good luck.
