HELLO EVERYONE,I THINK ONE OF THE FEMALE PLATY IS PREGNANT BECAUSE THE FEMALE IS MORE ROUNDED THAN THE REST OF THE FEMALES.MAY I KNOW HOW LONG I TAKES TO INCUBATE THE FRY???AND WHAT SHOULD I DO TO HELP THE FRY TO SURVIVE???

Shhhh. Stop yelling first of all. Secondly, you'll want to find a net breeder to hang over the top of the tank. Put her into that and wait, I don't think they incubate for too long. Someone with more experience on this want to take it from here?
When one of my platys are pregnant, right before they give birth she will hang out at the bottom of the tank and breathing hard. If your's does that you will need to put her in a breeder box until she has the babies. When the babies are born you will need to crush flake food into a fine powder and feed them that. The babies unload their stomaches every 20 min. so you will need to feed them small amounts about three times a day. That's how I take care of my fry anyway.
Once they are old enough be sure to find good homes for them or sell/donate them to a LFS. You'll be having a whole lot of little ones.
Incubation takes about 30 days but if she is already fat, it could be a lot less. usually you can see the babies in her stomach before she has them. They look like little dots.
ooo she now about two weeks already.Means i'll be expecting fry for two more weeks.she growing bigger day by day.thx every 1.
best thing leave the fish in the tank and move the fry over to a breeders net once they are born.
