sorry, I don't know my endlers from my guppies  Isn't there controversy over whether they're truly separate species?
yeah... some say subspecies, others say same genus, different species. I tend to favor the subspecies arguement.

If your guppies have large gravid spots and are really fat they are most likely pregnant. I have bred guppies my whole life and believe me, they breed really well! Good luck with your breeding!

Im going to try to save the babies,i have a breeder net im going to put them in,they wouldnt last a minute in my 30 gal tank(check sig)

Can a guppy and endler mate? Will the offspring be sterile? Horse+Donkey= Mule, which is sterile. Genus can mate but produce sterile offspring. Subspecies can produce fertile offspring. Swordtail+Platy= fertile offspring. Most Platy's have some Swordtail in them and vice versa.
If Endler's and Guppies can produce fertile offspring, then I agree with you.

I could be wrong(again) but I think guppies and endlers produce sterile offspring.

I have bred guppies with endlersmthen bred the fry to get better clors so the fry are not sterile....im going to try to get a almost pure endler with nice fins :)
