Prehistoric Dragon Goby sand or rocks?

I agree they would have a longer life span if in Brackish, but I mine in a 50 gallon with straight Freshwater and he's doing fine. I have mine with gravel, but they do prefer sand...Good Luck!

it wont last forever though. whenever they ge sick, it is nearly impossible to recover them. they need sand definatly, and dont buy off the internet, most petstores (even walmart, but dont buy there) carry them.

If you keep them in FW at least make sure it's high in TDS, but BW is much preferred for long-term.
