When I finnaly discovered what I had just sitting in my room going unused I hooked it up and put just a Marineland powerhead to it just to see how it worked and It didnt fill the sump (i guess thats what the waste collector is called) it just would put the waste in it and alot of it, I liked what this was doing so I called CPR and ordered myself a new pump and preskimmer. Now I read the directions and put the new pump near the bottom of the preskimmer and pluged it in, I am not getting and waste in the sump, but only water and lots of it...Litterly I watched it fill in about 5-10min with clear water, I was wonerding if this is normal if not what needs to be done? Why is the sump not collecing and waste anymore it just gets water, I mean what should be going in there? With the preskimmer where should the pump be placed and how should the filter spounge be placed? becuse I dont see the spounge doing any good except keeping stuff from getting in the sump? PLEASE HELP!
