After more than 2 yrs of DIY co2 finally went to pressurized and plants are quite happy, fish too. Before the co2 turns out my ph is 6.8, then 6.2 just before it goes off. During this time the drop checker changes from blue to something green or close to it at the end. From what I understand, so far so go, However, the results of my 24 hr cup test (actually 36) showed a ph rise from 6.2 up to 7.4. Is this in line with everything else? Thanks.

From the time co2 turns off at night until the time it turns back on in the morning is not enough time to gas off all the co2. This accounts for the discrepancy between your tank measurements and your cup test.
