Yes I believe so. The problem is the inspections are not normally done where you buy and refill the bottle, they get sent out. My place said 2-3 weeks turn around time. If you pull co2 off a high light tank for that long it will be a mess by the time you get your bottle back. Sawpping is simpler :-0

Good reason to get two tanks. For me, if mine ran out it would probably take me a week or two until I had time to run to the welding shop to get it filled anyway. With a second tank I can swap it immediately and then not have to worry about not getting to the welding place quick enough.
