Hi There;
I am wondering if anyone knows of any very pretty, colorful , non-aggressive fish, that are on the larger side. I need to wait until my tank completely cycles, but this is what is in there right now:

1 leopoldi stingray
1 motoro stingray
2 fire eels
2 blue acara's
3 bala sharks

I would like to put some Boesemani Rainbow's in there, but not sure if they are too small. They stay close to the top though I think so they should be ok if I get a whole school of them

As adults, they will be 4-5 inches. Not tiny fish, but not as big as it gets. A school should be okay, especially if the rays are kept well fed. Rays prefer crustaceans and bottom dwellers--easier to hunt. The eels might be able to take one, all depends.

The eels I don't think could, but you never know right? They are very pretty, here they are $35 for three of them so if we are talking about a school of say 12, that is getting up there in price. I didn't want to take too big of a risk. Which may sound funny to you guys with the two stingrays, but the stingrays I got for free

I think Rainbows are an excellent idea. Pretty much any species in the Melanotaenia genus will reach 4-6". Most of the species commonly available in the genus Glossolepis will get 6+". Sorry I can't pitch in regarding ray/eel compatability.

maybe that is what I should do, just different kinds of raibowfish, maybe a Geophagus or two, but those would probably definitely eat the rainbows.

That's it I need another tank lol

What about severums?
