Pretty Fish

I can get boesmani's around here for about 6 bucks I think. they are around 3-4" long. Maybe you can find some at another place? Kyle

Ok here is what I am thinking. Lets say 6-12 Boesemani Rainbows, 3-4 Severum, 3 Wild Altum Angels and a pair of undyed Blood Parrots. How do you think that would work out?

I probably would not ad that many fish. The tank is big, but you still want to go with a low bio-load to provide the best water quality for the rays.

I'd go with the rainbows and severums, but leave out the parrots and angels.

countrygirl- If you dont mind, could you tell me if you keep that tank on a reinforced floor or not? I have had some warping problems with my larger tanks in the past, and am always interested in how people situate them. Is it just on a ground level floor and against the wall? Thanks...

The tank is on the main floor above the basement. Half of the tank is on the main support beam of the house. The rest of the tank runs across the floor joists (about 5 of them) the side that is 2.5 feet long is against the wall, it runs 5.5 feet out from the wall, so the short side is against the wall. The tank is a divider between the living room and dining room. i hope that makes sense
