Prev gen mag 350

Hello, I have stumbled across a used prev generation? (maybe) Magnum 350 canister filter.

When I inquired about price the guy asked me for a reasonable offer. I had no idea what a reasonable price would be.

i ask all of you. what should I offer this guy?

if it is COMPLETE and in working condition nothing broken or leaking i would pay no more then 30.00 to 35.00 you can buy newer used ones on ebay for under 45.00
Make sure its not the older discontinued model 220 magnum used to make if it is i would offer no more then 20.00 I have a couple of them I picked up at yard sales for 15.00 they look identical to the 350 except the 350 motor base has the 350 logo label on it. the 350 and the 220 parts are all the same except the impellor is a bit different.

rod, thnx so much for the informative reply. i noticed they did not have the gold 350 sticker on the outside of the canister housing, rather it was written in red lettering. can u tell me anymore from this added info?

So what your5 saying is look closely at the motor base? 220 for 15-20, 350 for 30-35 right

Sounds like a older mag 350 if its in good working shape i would offer no more then 35.00
