So after pouring over this forum for a good few days I've read alot about people treating their tanks with things like Prime and Prazi, yet I have never heard of this in the U.K. I'd like something to treat my tanks with as a preventitive method so I was wondering if these products were available at all in the U.K or wether there was a U.K version of something similar?

Found these on google...

Prime in UK:

One capful (5ml) treats 50G/200L. Buy the 500ml big bottle if you can, you won't regret it.

I dilute 100ml of prime 400 ml of distilled water (1:4) and put it another bottle, also with a ~5ml size cap. This makes 500ml of a a 5ml per 40L/10 (US) gallon dosing. I always waste a lot trying to dose small tanks (under 50G) accurately with fully concentrated prime....I waste less using the diluted stuff.

Unless experiencing problem which may require additional additives or medication, why fix something which is not broken?

Would not dilute any products on the market for storage unless specified by mfr. Improper dilution of additives may change their physical/chemical properties, not to mention shelf life.

What are you using as dechlorinator?

As far as Prazi, this is a medication to treat certain, but not all, worm infestations. If you can not find Prazi in UK, google its ingredients and search for product with same or similar ingredient which may be avail in UK under different names.
As I mentioned, this is med thus should be treated as such. Not as everyday nor prophylactic purposes.
