Probably getting myself into trouble...

Yup,its loaded and it even has those fuzzy looking dice hanging on the shifter ( cause it doesn't have a mirror). It was just on the show " Pimp My Mower ".And next week its going to be the featured mower on Blue Collar TV.

GET OUT, SHARKY!!! you really do drive a good bargain, don't ya :D hmmm...... think you can handle it on the turnpike/parkway? Maybe act like a state worker to get it up here?

Yea, I think I can make it.I'll just lean forward cause that makes the mower go faster and I'll be able to keep up with traffic.I'll throw on one of those yellow vest and head out.But I'll have to stop and take a break every 10 minutes or so ,because if I don't someone will definitly know that I am not a State worker if I drive straight through and not stop.

hehehe, that's funny...... when you do make the stops, just make sure you lift the hood.... makes it look like you need help... if you get company, say the troopers or something, just tell them another guy just left and is sending help.... easy enough, you should be here in no time!! hmmm..... looks like rain though..... are you prepared for that?

Yup ,ready for the rain.I'll just put the convertible top up ( actually its just a rain coat with a hood, but know one will know the difference.)

I didn't have one, but one of our apiarian friends did. One just built the boxes open backed and attached them to a fairly well sealed window in his honey house. Never added boxes or pulled honey from them, just had it set up for the visual effect.

Wild bees aren't as friendly as the domestics--we had 3 hives, and the 2 domestics could be worked on with minimal effort, but the wild hive got pretty alarmed whenever someone got too close. They were the only hive that ever stung, and the sound when you'd lift the top off--it even sounded mean, deeper and more aggressive than the domestics.

Not to mention those africanized bees, that are slowly moving north.

Not even on the same country! Africanized bees can not be kept--they will not tolerate the invasion to collect honey. Domestics are actually pretty benign, while 'wild' bees are mostly swarms of bees that have gone native from domestics and been 'wild' for a few years, then split and swarm. They are more aggressive, but not a patch on the africaners.

And to think that all that mess started because some well intentioned person took off the special screens to keep the african queens inside the hives...

We don't have to worry about the African bees this far north. Apparently these bees are Italian. Proper hives were set up for them a couple hours ago. Everything should be all set. :D
