but anyway i did a quick check on the forum software.. only spellcheck appears to be a fishy IE plugin and/or a source hack that would require technical knowledge as well as a significant risk to existing forum. but i wont hijack this thread. I will post something in a more appropriate place when i get more info

Let me clear up the Med part. i didnt put ICK Cure in till one of the fish died with ick all over it, and two others showed signs of it for sure.

ick cure was like my last shot at saving my fish. I just figured they where dying of ick.


And not all the fish died, i have like 6 left that seem great today. even the one that was on very bottom of the tank yesterday.

I agree the fish food is the main cause. My fish where in excellent shape for 1 yr till this. Man I feel bad.


p.s. I have a filter on it, with a filter pad, and bio filter, that I wash out every time I clean my tank. its white in color instead of the blue pad.

A silly question maybe... it sounds like you had an AWFUL lot of fish in that 10 gallon tank. 8 Deaths and you mention 6 or 7 more in other posts... seems kinda overboard in a 10 gallon. How many and what kinds DID you have?

Also note that bad things happen quickly in little tanks, since there is so little water to dilute polutants.
