problem need answer

i was wondering is it a good idea if i change my tank water using rain water which i collected so there will be no chlorine

...

need advice desperately:help: thank you

It's not a good idea to use rain water, as it contains no minerals that fish need.

yeah took all your advice and decided to use water conditioner instead of rain water(only replace 20% of the current water and the fish look fine so far hehez ) thanks guys

also i visited the fish store and the owner ask if i wan to buy real coral as decoration, i dont know if that is a good idea cause i told coral is from deep sea salt water might mess with my tank water but it look nice on the store tank anyway it kinda expensive

But i main purpose is to thank all for saving my water changing problem really can count on you all Thank:)

As for my new tank the biggest i can afford is about 180 gallon wonder if it is enough to accomodate my fish hehez

You used good judgment with your fish store. DO NOT purchase coral for your goldfish tank! It will slowly dissolve and change the chemistry of your water, and anything living in it could be dangerous, even deadly, for your fish.

As for water changes, particularly with your stock, you should be doing large regular water changes. I would recommend a minimum of at least 50% once a week. Keep it at the same temp as your tank, and add a water conditioner such as Prime or API Stress Coat.

You also asked whether 1 filter was enough. I would be curious what kind of filter it is. If you have a simple HOB (Hang on Back) model, I would be doubtful. If you are using a sump or a canister filter, it is possible. Do you know what kind of filter it is?

Those fish store people need to stop making suggestions.
