The pictures aren't very clear, but my cory cat has developed this red lump, and one of her eyes has started to bug out as well. I have searched online all over the place, but I cannot find anything that describes what this condition is. Is there any hope for my cory?

Even with the huge red lump? The lump was there first, the popped out eye was much later.

Water Parameters -

Nitrate - <20ppm
Nitrite - 0
Harness - <50ppm (not ideal)
Alk - 80ppm (ideal)
ph - 7.2

try espom salt 1 tablespoon per 5 gallon with 86 degrees. it worked great for me
Would that cause a problem for the other resident of the tank? A black skirt tetra.

Yikes, poor cory! Maybe a tumor?

that's not popeye. it looks like a very large tumor (cancer). i don't think there is anything you can do besides choosing a method of euthanasia to stop your fish from suffering.

Oh ****, I really hope it isn't a tumor, though I was afraid it might be something real bad.
