Problem with Ebay buyer

Also, what happens if you refuse to refund the whole order, just the losses? They ban your account, is that it? If so, I would do that and move to Aquabid and forums like this one. I don't know about you, but I hate being cheated by lowlifes.

They have my paypal account, which is linked to my bank account, not worth the credit issues

The only reason I like ebay is because occasionally I get ppl that overpay on their bids, I had an auction last week go for 3x its value, unfortunately this week it went for 1/2 its value, and this guy started a dispute.

I sold 5 auctions last week and everyone was supernice and happy, it sucks when ppl like this come into play

Well then, sounds more like gambling. You win some you lose some. I'd suggest you work out your guarantees and offer the same for all so you can avoid this particular pothole.

I have always heard that Ebay is for buyers. No matter what they side with the buyers. Very few exceptions to this.

eBay swings back and forth on the buyers vs sellers issue. Currently they're in a "the buyer is always right" phase. You won't get far with their Customer Support, as the vast majority of it is outsourced to India or the Phillipines. They don't review the cases very thoroughly and will pretty much always side with the buyer if there is any doubt at all.

Basically they over compensated for unscrupulous high-volume sellers that would screw over buyers and not get punished. Now they've gone too far the other way and punish sellers with bad buyers.

I worked for them for 5 years. There's not much you can do to appeal this unfortunately.

i love ebay i have over a 870 feed back rating 100% positive score. I have only had 3 bad experiences and ebay/paypal refunded my money since the sellers couldnt prove they mailed my items. and i would never buy anything alive on ebay.

I feel like they sway between buyers and sellers too.. always felt like it all depends on which one collectively complains more. Buyers complain about scammers, eBay restructures the search engine and goes anal with their rules, sellers complain about fees and eBay modifies the fee structure.

I've had some really, really awful experiences with eBay, but I still sell there since there seems to be a lot of bidders willing to overpay for things.

with paypal i was abuyer and got screwed big time. sent down payment for a truck in alabama, i'm in pa. so called dealer started selling truck on ebay pulled it off to sell to me. we said we'd try to get there in a few weeks,.. he called and wanted all the money with out us picking up the truck and we wouldn't do it till we got there,.. so he ended up selling it on ebay right out from under us,.. we sent deposit march 30 .. he called april 8th and put it on ebay 10 days later,.. hubby got called back to work and couldn't leave for that long,.. people like that live off ebay,.. scamming people i had afunny feeling about him,.. but hubby knows best,.. he thinks ,.. when i have that feeling i know i'm gonna get screwed some how,..

paypal said they can't do anything cause i authorized the payment,.. they said call your visa,.. they said same thing ,.. said take it to small claims court,.. fat lot that will do so i'm out a bunch and bought new tires for a truck we don't have,..

Getting screwed over by lowlifes is inevitable in any business. I can understand why he'd be upset and not want to pay shipping on what was left, but he should at least pay you for what he received in good order. Was it a large amount you had to eat?
